WHAT IS THE TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL?

You may be aware of recent reports about recalls involving air bags supplied by Takata. Ten different car companies, including Subaru, are affected. The passenger front air bag modules in Subaru vehicles sold in South Africa are a part of the recall.

IS MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE AFFECTED?

To determine if your specific vehicle is affected by this or any other recall, insert your 17 digit vehicle identification number (VIN) in the Subaru SA website. The VIN can be found on the vehicle itself on the windscreen, licence disc or vehicle registration documents.

HOW DO I GET MY VEHICLE FIXED?

If your vehicle is one of those recalled, you will be directed to a form asking for your contact information. Once we are ready to schedule your visit to your closest dealership, we will contact you and do so.
